Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information FinanceUtils ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit financeutils.com, and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and all calculations happen locally in your browser.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
FinanceUtils does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use our calculators. All calculations — including inflation adjustments, purchasing power estimates, and chart generation — are performed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter are never transmitted to our servers.
2. Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, our web hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used solely for server security, performance monitoring, and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not used to identify individual users and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies
FinanceUtils does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking technologies. Your browser may store standard session data to support basic site functionality, but no persistent identifying cookies are set by us.
4. Third-Party Services
We load the following third-party resources to power our calculators:

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
5. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal database to secure or breach. The financial figures you enter into our calculators exist only in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or refresh the page.
6. Children's Privacy
FinanceUtils is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
